Third Culture Tales: Los Angeles Edition
📅 June 19, 2025
📍 ClinkNOORD, Amsterdam
⏰ 7:30 - 10:00 PM
Third Culture Tales is returning to Amsterdam for another evening of powerful storytelling, music, and connection. 🌎✨
At TCT, we bring together voices from across cultures to share deeply personal narratives of identity, belonging, and self-discovery. Through live storytelling, music, and spoken word, we explore what it means to exist between worlds—navigating new places, shifting identities, and redefining home.
Set in the heart of Amsterdam’s vibrant creative scene, this edition at ClinkNOORD will feature a dynamic lineup of storytellers and performers who will take the stage to share their journeys. Whether you're a third culture individual, an immigrant, or simply someone who understands the feeling of being in-between, this night is for you.
✨ Lineup
🎤 Sarah
A mother, a global citizen, and above all an educator, Sarah believes that every person carries a story worth telling. Through sharing, we create connection, and through connection, a deeper understanding of the world. Her stories reflect a lifelong commitment to empathy, growth, and building bridges across cultures.
🎤 Sara
An energetic and creative force from Amsterdam, Sara draws strength from her mixed heritage—Polish on her mother’s side, Egyptian on her father’s. With feet in two cultures and a heart grounded in both, she uses storytelling to explore family, identity, and the beautiful messiness of belonging.
🎤 Halil
Born in the Netherlands to Turkish parents, Halil is a storyteller where tradition, politics, and hip hop converge. Though he studied law, his path led him through social work, theatre, stand-up, and ultimately, storytelling—where everything finally clicked. A graduate of the Professional Storytelling course at Mezrab, Halil brings authenticity, humor, and heart to the stage.
🎤 Mohna
Originally from India and now proudly Dutch, Mohna is a fearless and witty voice in Amsterdam’s English-language comedy scene. While known for her sharp stand-up, she returns to TCT for a second time to embrace storytelling—a space where she can go deeper, be vulnerable, and share the richness of her cross-cultural life experiences without needing to chase a punchline.
🎶 Augustine
A multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer, Augustine returns to TCT with a fresh set of all-original songs. A seasoned world traveler, his music is rooted in a blend of global influences and personal storytelling. With each performance, he invites the audience into a sonic journey that bridges cultures, emotions, and lived experience.
