On January 22, we celebrated the 10th edition of Third Culture Tales at Noord Space in Amsterdam — a milestone evening that felt both intimate and electric. The space filled steadily with familiar faces and new ones, all ready to listen, reflect, and connect.

The night opened with storytelling that was bold, personal, and deeply engaging.

Luana brought sharp wit and fearless honesty to the stage, drawing laughter and knowing nods from the audience. Her presence was magnetic — equal parts humor and truth.

Meysam followed with a grounded and thoughtful performance, holding the room with sincerity and emotional clarity. The audience met him with deep attentiveness and warm applause.

Yasaman closed the storytelling portion with a powerful and composed stage presence. Her performance carried both strength and vulnerability, and the room responded with a collective stillness that spoke volumes.

Music framed the evening beautifully.

Saghar’s percussion filled the space with rich, resonant rhythms — grounding and expansive at once. The sound of Tombak and Daf brought a physical pulse to the night, connecting tradition with the present moment.

Agustin added another layer through his musical set, creating an atmosphere that invited reflection and movement in equal measure.

There was something particularly special about this edition — perhaps the awareness that we were marking ten gatherings of stories across cities and communities. The audience was fully engaged throughout: leaning in, laughing freely, and lingering afterward to continue conversations sparked by the performances.

Thank you to Noord Space, to our incredible storytellers and musicians, and to everyone who continues to make Third Culture Tales a space of belonging.

On to the next chapter.
