On April 11, Third Culture Tales: Stories Beyond Borders returned to Impossible Stage in Berkeley for an intimate evening of storytelling, reflection, and connection. The room filled quickly with a warm and attentive audience, creating the kind of atmosphere that has become central to the spirit of Third Culture Tales—open, curious, and deeply engaged.

The evening featured storytelling performances by Kritika, Serena, Tara, and Nazy, each bringing a distinct voice and presence to the stage. Throughout the night, the audience moved fluidly between laughter, contemplation, and emotional resonance, responding generously to each performer and the unique energy they carried into the room.

There was a palpable sense of trust and community in the space. Guests leaned in closely, conversations sparked naturally between strangers, and the performances created moments of recognition that lingered well beyond the final applause.

One of the most beautiful parts of the evening was witnessing how differently each storyteller approached the stage while still contributing to a shared feeling of connection and belonging. Together, the lineup reflected the richness and complexity of lives shaped across cultures, geographies, and identities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to our storytellers for their honesty and presence, and to Diaspora Arts Connection for continuing to support and help nurture this growing community.

We’re grateful for another unforgettable gathering and look forward to the next chapter of Third Culture Tales.
