Our recent edition of Third Culture Tales: Stories Beyond Borders at Noord Space was an evening filled with warmth, vulnerability, laughter, and rhythm. The room felt alive from the very beginning — a gathering of people ready to listen deeply and connect across cultures and experiences.
Rod brought his seasoned storytelling presence to the stage, grounding the room with confidence and care. Years of holding space at Mezrab were evident in the way he carried the audience with him — attentive, engaged, and fully present.
Yoyo offered a performance that felt both intimate and expansive. Their presence was magnetic, inviting the audience into a shared reflection that was met with thoughtful silence and heartfelt applause.
Marijn held the space with a quiet intensity, drawing listeners in and reminding us of the power of storytelling as a bridge between worlds. The audience responded with deep focus and appreciation.
Anusha brought clarity and honesty to the stage, her words landing with both tenderness and strength. You could feel the resonance in the room — nods, soft laughter, and that collective stillness that signals connection.
The evening closed with a live set by Heimat, shifting the energy from reflection to movement. The audience lingered, danced, and carried the spirit of the stories into rhythm and sound — a perfect ending to a night built on shared experience.
Thank you to Noord Space for hosting us, to our performers for their generosity, and to everyone who showed up ready to listen and be part of something meaningful.
We look forward to the next gathering.
