On June 19, Third Culture Tales: Stories Beyond Borders returned to Amsterdam for an intimate evening of storytelling and music at ClinkNOORD. The event welcomed a full house of listeners eager to connect with narratives shaped by life across cultures.
Five powerful voices shared the stage, each offering a distinct perspective on identity, movement, and belonging:
Sarah opened the evening with a heartfelt reflection on motherhood, migration, and empathy, drawing from her life lived across continents.
Sara explored her Polish-Egyptian roots with vulnerability and clarity, revealing the beauty and complexity of dual belonging.
Halil delivered a compelling story that fused politics, hip hop, and personal growth, inviting the audience into a deeply honest space.
Mohna, returning to the TCT stage, offered a poetic, humorous take on navigating identity, blending emotional depth with wit.
Augustine closed the night with a captivating musical performance, using sound and rhythm to tell a story that transcended borders.
This gathering reminded us of the power of storytelling to connect across difference and create a sense of shared space — even if just for an evening.
